I asked in the room cleaning only involved clean towels and waste bin emptying, they so no it was a full clean. When we returned to our room, housekeeping was undertaking turn down service in the room next door. Despite the light being switched on to signal please clean the room, on our second day the only cleaning was the waste basket emptied and clean towels provided.
Since using the bathroom in the morning meant my husband could not continue sleeping…Breakfast is fantastic with a huge selection and the waiting staff we great. The room was lovely although had I realised the shower was in the bedroom room, without a shower door I would not have booked. However, reception claimed unawareness and we waited for 1.5 hours for the room. I emailed in advance informing reception we would arrive at 12 pm. Whilst I appreciate the Hôtel has a checkin time of 3pm.
